Definition:

We are seeking a skilled and innovative Glass Applications Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in recommending and designing glass applications for various applications in the A&D world. You will collaborate closely with sales representatives and customers to understand their specific requirements and provide expert guidance on the most suitable glass solutions. Your expertise in glass materials and manufacturing processes will be instrumental in meeting our clients' needs while ensuring product quality and safety. This customer-facing role is critical for instilling confidence in our customers, setting proper expectations and helping close the business for the company.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Glass Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
• Proven experience in glass engineering, glass manufacturing, or a related technical field.
• Strong knowledge of various glass types, properties, and manufacturing processes.
• Experience in designing and recommending glass applications for industrial or commercial use.
• Proficiency in CAD software and other relevant design tools.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to solve complex problems related to glass applications.
• Strong project management skills and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
